So the rumor around the Internet today is that the reason for Rockstar's delay of GTA 4 stems from difficulties in developing for PS3. I am going to go out on a limb and state that the PS3 version of GTA may very well be a port of the Xbox 360 game. The team underestimated the difficulty in porting a complex game between these two architectures.

I know very little about this title so far, but I am quite interested to say the least. It also looks like the Zelda that should have been. None of this Twilight Princess crap, give me sweet cell shading and cute little main charcters in my Zelda games and an art style that matches.

This games also makes me think of the old Lucas Arts adventure games. I think that SCUMM needs to make a comeback and that Wii and DS are the perfect platforms for it.

With last years introduction of the DS Lite and the Wii I have come to the conclusion that evil Japanese scientists are doing their darndest to ruin our lives. Why do I say this? Because their shit be so tyte that it makes me mad jealous. For the record this is all 100% pure speculation, as at this time Nintendo has not unveiled any plans to connect the DS and the Wii.

A little algebra for ya’ll:

Wii + wi-fi + DS Download play + X = Virtual console of classic Nintendo games downloaded through you Wii onto your DS.

X = a flash memory DS cartridge, from Nintendo.

The BluRay disk player is not the Trojan horse Sony hoped would pull its PS3 into living rooms across the globe. The situation now is fundamentally different then it was at the time of the DVD/PS2 release. It is time for Sony to return to the drawing board and find a new method to thrust their "George Forman" grill of a game system onto consumers.
