Squaremans

So I made a legendary journey past the land of Walt Disney in the land of orange orchards to the South Coast Plaza. There I met with a good friend and Author, Matthew Colville. We spent a few hours eating lunch and talking about videogame development and marketing. It was quite an enjoyable experience.

Stanford iPhone Class - Back to School!!!

The Stanford Computer Science program is offering an iPhone Application Programming Course, and I have decided to audit via the Internet in an effort to get myself into iPhone development. Amazing how much cooler it is to learn object oriented application design using cocoa and iPhone then building a spreadsheet application with MFC was back when I was in school.

malphrus - cameron village - Corey Feldman ATE his Wife's boobies

Quake live

13 years after QTEST, Quake live is a blast. It still has some rough edges, but overall I am very impressed. It sort of made up for the dissapointing TF2 scout package released today. I think the idea of a lightweight game focused around community is brilliant. Imagine if Xbox live and facebook had a baby. Quake Live is that baby. I look forward to watching this develop.
